AOPA Real-Time Flight Planner (RTFP) uses TCP port 1986 to communicate with the server. If you are behind a firewall, you may need to allow outgoing connections on this port. Note that you do not need to allow incoming connections on any ports to use the system.
To configure firewall settings, contact the network administration department or the firewall manufacturer.
If you are behind a corporate or personal firewall, you must have access through the following ports for your weather provider:
CSC DUATS access: port 80
CSC DUATS access (alternate): port 23
DTC DUATS access: port 8096
